Unlike other chapters, Sheol only has one floor, with Satan as the boss. The walls appear to be the same material found in the Devil Room, most likely a reference to the name of the level, meaning 'underworld' in Hebrew. Was also playing as Isaac if that makes any difference, but trying to unlock lost the old way did nothing for me. The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Sheol (pronounced 'shee-ohl') is a level that was added in the Halloween Update. Just unlocked the lost a little while ago by dying in a sacrifice room while holding the missing poster in Afterbirth. Following Isaac one more time on his journey, players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets, and fight his way to safety. When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is the massively updated expansion to 2014's rogue-like of the year, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
